No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Human Resources Code relating to the authority of the Independent Ombudsman for the Texas Juvenile Justice Department to investigate and evaluate juvenile facilities and records.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing agency resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
