No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Water Code relating to the administration of certain water districts.
According to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the agency can reasonably absorb any fiscal impact from implementing the provisions of the bill.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.
