The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $114,369.
The joint resolution would propose a constitutional amendment limiting the service of certain officeholders after the expiration of the person's term of office. The proposed amendment would be submitted to voters at an election to be held November 7, 2017. If the resolution passes, the constitutional amendment would take effect upon certification of the election by the Governor and the Secretary of State.
The Office of the Governor indicates that any costs associated with implementation of the joint resolution could be absorbed within existing resources.
The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $114,369.
