IN RE:
SB419 by Kolkhorst (Relating to the extension of additional state aid for tax reduction provided to certain school districts.), As Introduced
The bill would extend the Additional State Aid for Tax Reduction (ASATR) mechanism through FY23. More than 90 percent of the revenue anticipated to be distributed under the bill would flow to districts in the two highest quintiles of property wealth per weighted student. The bill would provide revenue to approximately 15 percent of school districts statewide serving about 6 percent of the total number of students in average daily attendance.
