IN RE:	SB2142 by Taylor, Larry (Relating to the repeal of the high school allotment under the Foundation School Program.), As Introduced

The bill would be anticipated to improve equity among Texas school districts relative to current law.
 
The bill would repeal the high school allotment a mechanism that currently flows outside the Foundation School Program's (FSP) equalized system. The bill also contains legislative intent language that provides for a similar level of funding to be distributed through an increase in the basic allotment.
