Pursuant to a notice posted on May 18, 2017, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 8:20 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Howard; Alonzo; Ashby; Cook; Davis, Sarah; Geren; Kacal; King, Ken; Koop; Paddie; and Phelan.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which SB 317 was placed on the Major State Calendar for Saturday, May 20, 2017 and SB 669, SB 1076, SB 80, SB 1831, SB 894, SB 1124, SB 1330, SB 1893, SB 879, SB 687, SB 2150, SB 528, SB 975 were placed on the General State Calendar for Saturday, May 20, 2017. The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Davis, Sarah moved to place the following measures: 

 

on the General State Calendar for Saturday, May 20, 2017:  SB 80, SB 528, SB 669, SB 687, SB 879, SB 894, SB 975, SB 1076, SB 1124, SB 1330, SB 1831, SB 1893, SB 2150.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Hunter; Howard; Alonzo; Ashby; Cook; Davis, Sarah; Geren; Kacal; King, Ken; Koop; Paddie; Phelan (12).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Representative Howard moved to place the following measures: 

 

on the Major State Calendar for Sunday, May 21, 2017:  SB 317.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
