Pursuant to a notice posted on February 17, 2017, and permission granted on February 23, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative White, at 1:06 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives White; Davis, Sarah; Romero, Jr.; Sanford; and Schaefer.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

 

The chair called for invited testimony to explain and give an overview of corrections programs in the state.

The chair called for invited testimony to explain the fiscal aspects of state corrections programs and systems.

At 4:13 p.m., on the motion of Representative Sanford and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
