Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 17, 2017, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Shawn Thierry, at 9:06 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Springer; Biedermann; Roberts; Thierry; and Uresti, Tomas.
