Pursuant to a notice posted on August 7, 2017, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Laubenberg, at 3:35 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Laubenberg; Israel; Anderson, Rodney; Fallon; Reynolds; and Swanson.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

HB 96

 

The chair laid out HB 96 as pending business.

 

Representative Swanson offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Swanson moved that HB 96, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Laubenberg; Anderson, Rodney; Fallon; Swanson (4).

 

Nays:                           Representatives Israel; Reynolds (2).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Larson (1).

The chair laid out HB 184 as pending business.

 

Representative Anderson, Rodney offered a complete committee substitute.
