Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 4, 2017, and permission granted on May 4, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on General Investigating & Ethics met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, Sarah, at 7:17 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Davis, Sarah; Moody; Capriglione; Nevárez; Price; and Shine.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 464 as pending business.

Representative Moody moved that HB 464, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Representative Price moved that SB 500, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
