Pursuant to a notice posted on February 17, 2017, and permission granted on February 22, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Lozano, at 12:25 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Lozano; Raney; Alonzo; Alvarado; Button; Clardy; Howard; Morrison; and Turner, Chris.

A quorum was present.

At 1:44 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
