Pursuant to a notice posted on July 6, 2017, the House Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gutierrez, at 10:20 a.m. The Committee met in the Del Rio City Hall.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Gutierrez; and Arévalo.

 

 

The Committee met and heard invited and public testimony on the encroachment of military installations. Rep. Poncho Nevarez was in attendance.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 11:12 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
