Pursuant to a notice posted on November 28, 2017, revised on December 6, 2017, the House Committee on Human Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Raymond, at 9:37 a.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Raymond; Frank; Klick; Miller; Rose; and Wu.

The Chair made opening remarks.
The committee heard testimony on the following interim charge:
Monitor the HHSC's implementation of Rider 219 in Article II of the General Appropriations Act related to prescription drug benefit administration in Medicaid. Analyze the role of pharmacy benefit managers in Texas Medicaid.
