Pursuant to a notice posted on November 15, 2017, the House Committee on Insurance met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phillips, at 9:04 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phillips; Paul; and Turner.

The committee heard testimony from state agencies on agency status and Hurricane Harvey response.

At 5:03 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
