Pursuant to a notice posted on March 9, 2017, and permission granted on March 14, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 2:07 p.m.
