Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 12, 2017, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Herrero, at 5:54 p.m.

The chair laid out SB 468.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The chair recognized Representative Oliveira to explain SB 468.

The chair recognized Representative Oliveira to close on SB 468.

The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.

SB 1878

The chair laid out SB 1878, companion to HB 3214.

Representative Blanco moved that SB 1878, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Herrero; Bell; Bailes; Blanco; Faircloth; Stucky (6).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representative Krause (1).

SB 1248

The chair laid out SB 1248, companion to HB 1852.

Representative Bailes moved that SB 1248, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representative Krause (1).

At 6:12 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
