Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 17, 2017, and permission granted on April 17, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, Senfronia, at 2:37 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson, Senfronia; Clardy; Burkett; Dean; Frank; Gonzales, Larry; Landgraf; Longoria; Minjarez; Murr; and Simmons.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

 

The chair recognized Rep. Larry Gonzales to explain the fiscal notes to HB 513, HB 1370, HB 1724 and, HB 1934.

 

Representative Burkett moved that the following measures be transferred over to the House Calendars Committee: HB 92, HB 513, HB 682, HB 1264, HB 1355, HB 1370, HB 1570, HB 1724, HB 1934, HB 2413.  The motion prevailed without objection.

Representative Clardy moved to place the following measures on the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Friday, April 21, 2017 (The chair recognized Rep. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
