Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 24, 2017, and permission granted on April 24, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, Senfronia, at 2:45 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson, Senfronia; Clardy; Collier; Dean; Frank; Gonzales, Larry; and Murr.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair recognized Representative Clardy to explain the floor amendment to HB 1995.

 

Representative Clardy moved that the floor amendment to HB 1995 offered by Representative Elkins be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Thursday, April 27, 2017.  The motion prevailed without objection.
