Pursuant to a notice posted on July 24, 2018, the House Committee on Opioids & Substance Abuse, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Price, at 9:09 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Price; Moody; Alvarado; Murr; Nevárez; Roberts; Rose; Sheffield; VanDeaver; and White.

A quorum was present.

The select committee met to hear public testimony regarding the interim charges relating to Opioids and Substance Abuse.

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

At 11:50 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
