CORRECTED MINUTES

On May 16, 2017, the House Committee on Public Health authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Public Health held on May 11, 2017. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11, 2017, and permission granted on May 11, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Public Health met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Price, at 3:07 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Price; Arévalo; Burkett; Cortez; Guerra; and Zedler.

A quorum was present.

(Representative Klick now present.)

SB 292

The chair laid out SB 292.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The chair explained SB 292.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Sheffield moved that SB 292, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
