Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 1, 2017, and permission granted on May 1, 2017, to meet while the House was in session during reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Special Purpose Districts met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Murphy, at 5:46 p.m.
