Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 25, 2017, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 4:30 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cook; Giddings; Craddick; Farrar; Geren; King, Ken; Kuempel; Meyer; Oliveira; Paddie; and Rodriguez, Eddie.
A quorum was present.
The chair directed that the April 5, 2017 minutes for the House Committee on State Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
