Pursuant to a notice posted on April 28, 2017, a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 1, 2017, and permission granted on May 3, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 7:42 p.m.
