Pursuant to a notice posted on August 22, 2018, revised on August 24, 2018, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 9:34 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cook; Giddings; Kuempel; Paddie; and Rodriguez, Eddie.

The committee met to address the following interim charge:

Monitor the agencies and programs under the Committee's jurisdiction and oversee the implementation of relevant legislation passed by the 85th Legislature, including SB 11 85(1)-2017.

At 10:23 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
