Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Thursday, December 14, 2017, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:02 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Other members in attendance: Senator Sylvia Garcia.

Chair and members made opening remarks on the Senate’s current sexual harassment policy.

Chair called Patsy Spaw. Secretary of the Senate and Delicia Sams, Director of Human Resources to provide invited testimony.

There being no further business, at 11:20 AM Senator Kolkhorst moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
