Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Business & Commerce was held on Monday, December 10, 2018, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:01 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Chairman Hancock made opening remarks.

Senator Campbell moved to limit testimony to 3 minutes; without objection, it was so ordered.

The Chairman opened invited testimony on Texas health insurance marketplace.

Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

The Chairman then opened invited testimony on the TDI data call on Hurricane Harvey. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list. The chair moved that invited  testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

There being no further business, at 11:40 AM Senator Hancock moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
