The chair called the meeting to order at 1:19 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
The chair laid out as a matter of pending business HB 7.
Senator Uresti moved to withdraw the committee substitute, which was discussed at a previous hearing; without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Uresti sent up a committee substitute. The chair recognized Senator Uresti to explain the difference between the committee substitute and the house bill as engrossed.
Senator Schwertner moved adoption of the committee substitute for HB 7; without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Uresti moved that HB 7 do not pass but that CSHB 7 be reported back to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.
The chair laid out as a matter of pending business HB 337.
Senator Watson moved adoption of the committee substitute for HB 337; without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Watson moved that HB 337 do not pass but that CSHB 337 be reported back to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.
Senator Schwertner moved that the bill be recommended for placement on the Local & Uncontested Calendar; without objection, it was so ordered.

Senator Uresti moved that HB 3204 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.

Senator Schwertner sent up Committee Amendment 1 and moved adoption; without objection, the amendment was adopted.
Senator Schwertner sent up Committee Amendment 2 and moved adoption; without objection, the amendment was adopted.
Senator Schwertner requested unanimous consent to incorporate the amendments into a committee substitute; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Schwertner then moved that the committee substitute be adopted; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Schwertner moved that HB 2766 do not pass but that CSHB 2766 be reported back to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 6 ayes, 3 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent.
At 1:28 AM Senator Schwertner resumed the chair.
There being no further business, at 1:29 AM Senator Schwertner moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
