The chair called the meeting to order at 10:02 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The Chair announced that the purpose of the hearing was to discuss Hurricane Harvey Interim Charges 1, 2, and 3 related to Hurricane Harvey response and recovery.
The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on Harvey Charge #1. Witnesses testifying and registering on the charges are shown on the attached list.
The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on Harvey Charge #2. Witnesses testifying and registering on the charges are shown on the attached list.
At 12:09 PM Senator Uresti assumed the chair.
At 12:15 PM Senator Schwertner resumed the chair.
The Chair called invited witnesses to testify on Harvey Charge #3. Witnesses testifying and registering on the charges are shown on the attached list.
Public testimony was taken on all three charges. Witnesses testifying and registering on the charges are shown on the attached list.
There being no further business, at 2:56 PM Senator Schwertner moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
