The chair called the meeting to order at 12:02 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

At 2:05 PM Senator Van Taylor assumed the chair.

At 2:09 PM Senator Schwertner resumed the chair.

There being no further business, at 5:06 PM Senator Schwertner moved that the committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
