Pursuant to Rule 1, Texas House Rules and pursuant to Rule 11.03, Texas Senate Rules, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Higher Education Formula Funding, Interim was held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

Co-chair Representative Trent Ashby called the meeting to order at 8:03 AM.  The following business was transacted:

 

Representative Ashby made opening comments, and opened up invited testimony. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

 

The roll was called at 8:13 AM.  A quorum was present.

 

The chair moved that the invited testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

There being no further business, at 10:19 AM Representative Howard moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
