Pursuant to a notice posted on January 11, 2018, the Joint Committee on Partnership Advisory Commission met in a public hearing and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Jim Murphy, at 10:31 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representative Murphy; Representative Frullo; Representative Howard; Senator Buckingham; Austin Holder as proxy for Senator Nelson; and Citizens Martin, Margaret; and Villarreal, Rigoberto "Rigo".

 

A quorum was present.

 

The Facilities Commission presented updates to the Capitol Complex Master Plan.  (attached witness list).

 

Ms. Martin moved that the updates be approved.  Representative Howard seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

 

The Facilities Commission presented updates to the P3 (public-private-partnership) Guidelines.  (attached witness list).

 

Representative Frullo moved that the updates be approved.  Ms. Martin seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

 

Presiding Officer Murphy moved that Senator Hancock be named new presiding officer, and that Representative Howard be named assistant presiding officer.  There were no further nominations.  Presiding Officer Murphy moved that the nominees be elected, Representative Frullo seconded the motion.  The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

 

At 11:10 a.m., on the motion of Representative Murphy and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
