Pursuant to Rule 1, Texas House Rules and pursuant to Rule 11.03, Texas Senate Rules, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Prescribing & Dispensing Controlled Substances, Interim was held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in E2.012.

Co-chair Representative J. D. Sheffield called the meeting to order at 8:07 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair called invited witnesses to testify. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

 

The chair opened public testimony. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

 

The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

There being no further business, at 11:23 AM Representative Sheffield moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
