Pursuant to Rule 1, Texas House Rules and pursuant to Rule 11.03, Texas Senate Rules, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on State Judicial Salaries was held on Friday, September 28, 2018, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

Co-chair Senator Joan Huffman called the meeting to order at 10:02 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Representative Wray moved adoption of the committee rules. There being no objection, it was so ordered.

 

The Committee then heard invited and public testimony regarding state judicial salaries.

 

Witnesses testifying are shown on the attached list. The chair moved that the testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

There being no further business, at 12:49 PM Senator Huffman moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the co-chairs. Without objection, it was so ordered.
