The House Committees on Homeland Security & Public Safety and Defense & Veterans' Affairs will meet in a joint hearing to consider the following interim charge:

Examine the experience of other states in prioritizing retired peace officers and military veterans for school security. Determine the minimum standards necessary to implement such a program.

The Committees will hear invited and public testimony.  Public testimony may be limited to two minutes.
