The Senate Committee on Intergovernmental Relations will meet to consider the following:

Relating to the implementation of county solid waste management programs in certain counties.

Relating to low income housing tax credits awarded for certain developments.

Relating to the administration of federal funds under the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act.

Relating to the creation and operations of health care provider participation programs in hospital districts established under Chapter 281, Health & Safety Code.

SB 2245       Campbell               
Relating to the creation of the North Hays County Municipal Utility District No. 2; granting a limited power of eminent domain; providing authority to issue bonds; providing authority to impose assessments, fees, and taxes.

Relating to the creation of the Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 224; granting a limited power of eminent domain; providing authority to issue bonds; providing authority to impose assessments, fees, and taxes.

Relating to the creation of the Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 554; granting a limited power of eminent domain; providing authority to issue bonds; providing authority to impose assessments, fees, and taxes.

Relating to the conversion of the Grand Northwest Municipal Utility District to the Grand Northwest Municipal Management District; providing authority to issue bonds; providing authority to impose assessments, fees, or taxes.

Relating to the creation of the Fort Bend County Municipal Management District No. 2; providing authority to issue bonds; providing authority to impose assessments, fees, or taxes.

SB 2263       Campbell               
Relating to the powers and duties of the Lerin Hills Municipal Utility District of Kendall County; providing authority to issue bonds and impose fees and taxes.

SB 2265       Taylor, Larry          
Relating to the Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority and expanding the territory and powers of the authority; authorizing fees and the issuance of bonds.

SB 2267       Creighton              
Relating to the creation of the Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 555; granting a limited power of eminent domain; providing authority to issue bonds; providing authority to impose assessments, fees, and taxes.

SB 2268       Creighton              
Relating to the creation of the Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 159; granting a limited power of eminent domain; providing authority to issue bonds; providing authority to impose assessments, fees, and taxes.

SB 2273       Campbell               
Relating to the creation of the Kendall County Water Control and Improvement District No. 4; granting a limited power of eminent domain; providing authority to issue bonds; providing authority to impose assessments, fees, and taxes.

SB 2282       Nichols                
Relating to the dissolution of the Angelina County Water Control and Improvement District No. 3 and the territory of the Angelina County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1.

 

The Committee may also consider pending business.
