Amend Amendment No. 121 by Schaefer to CSHB 1 (page 238, prefiled amendments packet) by striking the text of the amendment and substituting the following:
Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) in Article V of the bill, following the appropriations to the Department of Public Safety, by amending Rider 51, Statewide Safe Gun Storage Campaign (page V-57), immediately following the last sentence of the rider, by adding "The public awareness campaign may not convey a message that it is unlawful under state law to keep or store a firearm that is loaded or that is readily accessible for self-defense.".
