Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing) following the appropriations to the General Land Office and Veterans' Land Board (page VI-31) by adding the following appropriately numbered rider:
____. Bayou and Waterway Dredging. Money appropriated to the General Land Office for use in dredging, deepening, or widening bayous or other waterways may be used only in dredging operations that begin at the mouth of the bayou or waterway selected by the office for dredging and work inland.
