Amend CSHB 1 (house committee report) on page VII-31 following the bill pattern of the Department of Transportation, add the following rider:

____.  Contingency for HB 2814. Contingent upon enactment of HB 2814, or similar legislation relating to the designation of highway safety corridors increasing a fine by the Eighty-Sixth Legislature, Regular Session, the Department of Transportation shall allocate from within Strategy C.2.1, Traffic Safety, to implement the provisions of this legislation.
