Amend CSHB 1 (house committee printing), in Part 6, Article IX of the bill (page IX-33), by adding the following appropriately numbered section:

Sec. 6.____.  Expenditures for Border Wall, Fence, or Barrier Prohibited. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, money appropriated by this Act may not be used to construct, maintain, or otherwise facilitate the construction or maintenance of a wall, fence, or other barrier along the United States' international border with Mexico.
