Amend CSHB 14 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  On page 2, strike lines 10, 11, 18, and 19, and renumber subdivisions accordingly.

(2)  On page 2, at the end of line 17, add "and".

(3)  On page 3, line 17, between "make" and "payments", insert "annual".

(4)  On page 3, line 18, strike "the eligible holders" and substitute "the holders".

(5)  On page 3, line 19, strike "as those payments become due" and substitute "due for the applicable year".

(6)  On page 4, strike "a public or private nonprofit postsecondary educational institution" and substitute "an institution of higher education or a private or independent institution of higher education" in each of the following places it appears:

(A)  lines 12 and 13; and

(B)  lines 19 and 20.
