Amend HB 80 (second reading engrossment) in SECTION 1 of the bill as follows:
(1) On page 1, lines 14 through 16, strike the second sentence of added Section 61.06691(a), Education Code, and substitute the following:
Using existing information to the extent possible, the board shall develop an inventory of existing health science education programs at institutions of higher education and private or independent institutions of higher education and note the enrollment capacity for each of those programs.
(2) On page 2, line 19, between "training" and the underlined period, insert "who serve rural communities in this state".
