Amend HB 833 on third reading in SECTION 1 of the bill as follows:

(1)  In added Section 411.462, Government Code, between "military member" and "who suffers from a mental illness", insert "who has elected to participate in the alert system and".

(2)  In added Section 411.463(b)(5), Government Code, strike "opt out of any activation of" and substitute "opt into".

(3)  In added Section 411.466(a)(1), Government Code, between "member" and the underlined semicolon, insert "who is determined by the agency to be a participant in the alert system".
