Amend CSHB 3070 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  On page 1, line 6, strike "amending Subsection" and substitute "amending Subsections (a) and".

(2)  On page 1, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following:

(a)  The Texas A&M Forest Service shall administer the program established under this subchapter, and the director may adopt rules necessary to assist volunteer fire departments in paying for equipment, including the replacement or repair of equipment, and training of personnel.
