Amend CSHB 4296 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 2, line 8, following the underlined period, insert the following:
The board may not require the person to register as a plumber's apprentice, pay any fee, or comply with Section 1301.354 or any other requirement of this chapter that applies to a person's eligibility to apply for and take the examination.
(2) On page 2, line 12, between "with" and "any", insert "Section 1301.354 or".
