Amend HCR 135 as follows:
On page 1, line 7, strike "officer" and substitute "clerk".
On page 1, strike lines 8-15 and substitute the following:
"secretary of the senate will enroll the bill and shall assign a Texas Legislative Act number utilizing existing enrollment technology shared by both chambers."
On page 1, lines 16 and 17, strike "(c) The responsible officer shall then enroll the bill, including" and substitute:
"(b) Each enrolled bill shall include".
On page 1, line 22, strike "(d) Subsection (c)" and substitute "(c) Subsection (b)".
On page 2, line 1, strike "(e)" and substitute "(d)".
On page 2, lines 1 and 2, strike "by the director".
On page 2, strike lines 5-7 and substitute "(e) The Texas Legislative Act number shall be published and maintained in the electronic legislative information system for each enrolled bill enacted for each session and index".
