Amend SB 22 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 3, line 24, strike "EXCEPTION" and substitute "EXCEPTIONS".
(2) On page 3, lines 24-25, strike "provided by Subsection (b)" and substitute "otherwise provided by this section".
(3) On page 4, between lines 5 and 6, insert the following appropriately lettered subsection:
(____) This section does not apply to a taxpayer resource transaction entered into by a governmental entity to distribute contraception, including long-acting reversible contraceptives such as intrauterine devices and subdermal contraceptive implants, in an area of this state that has a high rate of repeat teen pregnancies.
