Amend SB 1572 (senate committee printing), in SECTION 1 of the bill, in amended Section 214.233(a), Local Government Code (page 1, line 24), between "official" and the period, by inserting the following:
if the municipality is located in:
(1) a county that has a population of two million or more; or
(2) a county that:
(A) has a population of more than 285,000 and less than 300,000; and
(B) borders the Gulf of Mexico
