Amend CSSB 1663 (senate committee printing) as follows:
(1) In SECTION 4 of the bill, in added Section 338.002, Local Government Code (page 3, line 18), between "ALTERATION." and "A", insert "(a)".
(2) In SECTION 4 of the bill, in added Section 338.002, Local Government Code (page 3, between lines 29 and 30), insert the following:
(b) This section does not apply to monuments or memorials that require relocation as part of a master plan that was approved by the municipality and the Texas Historical Commission.
