Committee Report (Unamended) |
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
It has been noted that health care provider participation programs help facilitate increased funding for local hospitals. Concerns have been raised regarding the upcoming expiration of such a program for the Tarrant County Hospital District, which is reported to have drawn down more than $100 million in new federal dollars to the county. H.B. 2324 seeks to address these concerns by providing for an extension of the district's health care provider participation program.
