BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
It has been noted that the G. J. Sutton Building Complex in San Antonio currently stands vacant, and its future is uncertain. C.S.H.B. 2944 seeks to address this concern by authorizing the General Land Office to offer this property for sale or transfer.

ANALYSIS
C.S.H.B. 2944 requires the General Land Office (GLO) to offer for sale or transfer on behalf of the state the real property known as the G. J. Sutton Building Complex in San Antonio described by the bill. The bill requires the GLO to conduct the sale or transfer using applicable procedures and sets out certain requirements for the sale or transfer.
